Job Description

We are looking for an outstanding individual who wants to join an exciting early stage start-up in its growth phase as a Sales & Account Manager to work closely with our senior management and a highly motivated team.

The role is based in Berlin.

Tasks

As Sales & Account Manager, your responsibilities will be to support the Vanilla Steel sales teams in their objectives of growing the business as well as building sustainable and profitable operations. You will be exposed to a broad range of areas of the company that will evolve in parallel with the needs of Vanilla Steel. Your first tasks will be to:

  • Perform outbound prospecting to companies via email, social selling tools (LinkedIn) and cold calls etc.
  • Prospect leads across the full B2B-sales cycle (qualification of leads, product demo, onboarding, commercial signature etc.) across your allocated regions
  • Structure sales processes (Customer research, CRM reporting)
  • Perform operational activities on the trading platform (prepare transactional data and order confirmations)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master’s Degree plus 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
  • You feel comfortable acquiring new customers by phone and have excellent communication skills
  • You like to take responsibility, are proactive and solution-orientated
  • Proficiency in G-Suite and/or Microsoft Office
  • High proficiency in English and additional European language as a mother tongue would be a plus
